While I’m sure there are other means to gain followers, anyone can put in some extra work a few days a week to naturally gain 1000 followers. You want to build an audience that will help you grow in the long run.

TikTok is a lot easier than YouTube when it comes to videos. Your content doesn’t have to be super complicated or long. With more and more users, you can easily find a niche and keep things rolling.

How to gain 1000 followers:

  1. Post regularly. Show that you’re active And have something to offer. You can be random, have reaction videos, or just post to have fun. Share your videos.
  2. Use trending and relatable hashtags. Try sneaking in the top trending hashtag. Using #foryou or #fyp has been a thing, however, the top trending tags can change on the daily.
  3. Like and follow other users. Follow people who’s content is similar to yours. Follow the followers of similar content creators. This will increase your chances of having someone who’s interested in what you have to offer. Feel free to follow back. You can always unfollow down the road if you’d like to skip their videos.
  4. Persistence. Unless your video goes viral, it will be a relatively slow start for the first couple of days and even weeks. Be persistent and keep at it. You can do it!
  5. Socialize. Make friends. Be involved in the community. Comment on other people’s videos and/or reply to other comments.
